About 18 kilometres of beaches front the Strait of Malacca from Tanjung Gemok to Tanjung Tuan, home to the 16th-century Cape Rachado Lighthouse and Tanjung Tuan wildlife reserve and forest sanctuary. Saujana Beach the place for long sunset strolls and the lively Saturday Night Market.

The Port Dickson Ostrich Farm is part of an eight-hectare recreation complex offering ATV rides, paintball, archery and buggy rides. Feel like getting up close and personal with exotic animals? The farm lets visitors interact with peacocks, ostrich, monkeys and various farm animals. You can even ride ponies, donkeys and an ostrich.

The Port Dickson esplanade runs along the seafront in the town centre, buzzing with activity from kite flying, waterfront dining, seaside shops and recreational parks. Yacht clubs in Port Dickson cater to sailboats and luxury yachts during renowned races and regattas.

Wan Loong Temple is perched on a coastal road, reflecting the opulence of Chinese architecture and devotion to deities, such as the Monkey King and Kuan Yin, goddess of mercy. A visit to the Army Museum in nearby Sirusa reveals fascinating military history through tanks, artillery guns and other military vehicles.

Getting around

Local buses service Port Dickson and surrounding towns, while taxis and tuk-tuk rickshaws are a common way to get to hotels and beaches. To explore the entire coastal region of Port Dickson, pick up a rental car from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, about 45 minutes away.
